I was teased mercilessly in elementary school. Not for my looks, or how I dressed, or weird things that I did. For my peanut allergy. Kids would pick on me, slip peanuts into my food, not realizing that it could kill me. I had to eat special food and sit at a table all by myself. I had to switch schools after they almost killed me.
