The reason I never talk is not because I'm shy. I have selective mutism, and have had it ever since I was very young. School is a nightmare. I barely have any friends. I can't speak to most of my family. I worry I'll never find someone who can see my personality and love me for it. I'll finally be happy one day. I'm sure of it.
