When I was really little and my parents were fighting badly, I would hide behind the pillows in their bed and plug my ears.
When they walked in I'd jump out and shout, "SURPRISE!" 
 
 They thought it was the cutest thing ever and stopped fighting. 
 
 I wish more than anything I could fit behind those pillows again.
