I overheard my mom talking about me on the phone to someone the other day. She was joking about how I was the broken child, because I had a heart defect, and Rheumatoid arthritis, and that I get sick often. She probably said more, but I don't know because I was crying too hard to hear anything else. Is it that hard to look past illness?
