My mom talks crap about my job and my thesis behind my back. She calls them "boring" and says that she can't imagine why I'd be so enthusiastic about a job that's mostly data entry and a thesis on historiography. I can't imagine why she wasted her life having kids and staying at home all day for 20 years.
