They are only proud of me when I lose weight. Even though I'm pushing to go to Med School to become a doctor, my mother and my boyfriend only ever encourage me in my weight loss. I have so many talents. I am smart, sociable, and accepting. They ignore the fact that I'm more than a number on a scale. And it hurts every day.
