I am almost 16 and I have a 7 year old brother.

My brother cries everytime my parents choose to go out and drink over spending time with him.

So I have him read to me, I help him with homework, make him supper, and tuck him in with an I love you.

I have to leave when I'm 18.

Everytime you're there for me, I always tell you I love you and laugh to lighten the words.

Truth is, I hurt when you do, think of you every night before I go to bed and wish people saw the light in you that I do.
